Hi all. I have a 1999 1.4 206. I have what looks like a common problem. Locks immediately bounce unlocked when locked with fob. I can lock the doors by locking passenger door and holding key in locked position until it stays locked then lock drivers door with key. But unable to lock boot. I have read it could be actuators or locking mechanisms. Also read there is a replacement kit but it might require changes to the wiring. Has anybody tried any of these? And do they have any advice on Suppliers and/or technical instructions?
Thanks

Try using the search feature on 206info.co.uk forum. That covers the hatchbacks too.

Does it beep when you try to lock the doors? Disconnect the boot catch wiring connector and try it see if its any different.

OK thanks I will try that. The battery is all good in the key. It activates the lock but the doors immediately bounce unlocked. Its in the garage at the moment the clutch went yesterday. I will try disconnecting the boot lock next week and update. Thanks again.
