206.allure 2.0 wheel bearings failing wear on hubs Help

HI peeps needing some advice. Rescently got a 2005 206 cc 2.0. It needed a wheel bearing replaced.bearing never even lasted a week the car place has replaced the bearing but now saying they recon both hubs have a bit of wear and other side bearing needing done.They are not ripping me off as my cuz is the manager.What i am asking i have seen a pair for sale from a 206 gti. I was told these might fit but thought i would ask the experts you guys cheers jim t

Yes they will fit, the 2.0 is based on the gti so basically everything that fits the gti will fit the 2.0 cc

There might be some differences with the GTi 180 but the standard 137/138 hp should be fine.

Puzzled by "wear on hubs" There aren't any moving parts. Are we talking front or rear and what are they saying is the worn bit?

Cheers guys.ordered yesterday and came today gti bloody quick lol.On answering the wear question its front hubs.Seems if someone continues to drive with shot bearings it can cause wear to the bottom knuckle and if this happens any new bearing has room to get beat up i beleive the bearings are press fitted so should be no room too move about. Thats about the just of it i ordered new disks and have brake pads here so just change the lot and hopefully all will be good. I bought the car cheaply as a cat c. Its waiting to go in and get body work and painted on its quarter panel. Cant understand why i love driving the wee thing got a fantastic new golf here but i do enjoy the 206 cc. Sun out roof down brilliant
