both of my Racing Pumas have developed a squealing noise. My dealer can trace it so I e-mailed
I had a reply within 3 hours or so and one of their top guys who was involved in the design of the car is coming to see me next week and look at the problem.
Now if only Peugeot could do that, then I would still own CC's

Can't complain about Peter Ambrose Ltd in Castleford had nothing but first class service. Fixed my leak and gave me a courtesy car which I had forgotten to ask for. Also did a top job colour coding me bumpers etc.
dont let them treat you like sh!t coz yu are young. Your money is the same as everyone else's.
Found out that Ford are committed to the Racing Puma until at least 2010. Wow, not bad, wonder how many other new cars Melanie will have had by then, she said something yesterday about the new 300BHP Capri???
Anyone got any pictures so I can see where my money is going to go
(I have my moderator hat on this morning!)

Getting very fed up with all the digs at Peugeot -
We have not had any problems with a 306 Dturbo over 100,000 miles, no problems with 2 205 XS's over 60,000 and 85,000, no problems with a 108,000 405 turbo diesel.
My last 406 did play up a bit, but Thorpe's of Alderminster gave impeccable service and I highly recommend them to anyone.
The current 406 has done 52,000 in 2 years with NO problems.
Our 206cc is 4 months old with nearly 4K and its FINE.
In Peugeots defence and against FORD RULES
Our neighbour bought a New Mondeo, £18.5 K.
This replaced last years new model which had constant engine faults that Ford could not fix. In the end after 8 months of hassle they offered him a reasonable price against a new one.
The new is OK on engine, but had so many paint faults that it has been re-sprayed twice. It is still not right and the Ford "monkeys" have done more damage than they put right !. The engineers report now shows that it was supplied as new having had new doors fitted - these don't match either.
The Fords replaced a Passat and Sharan that were sold due to unreliability.
My uncles Passat went due to unreliability and weeks off the road due to faults and poor supply of service.
My dad's VW Transporter packed up on my drive and they couldn’t fix it for nearly 2 weeks, they couldn’t get brake parts for 2 weeks etc etc.
My colleague at work has been let down by his Passat - so much so he wishes he hadn’t bought it - let alone the astonishing tyre wear. - His Passat - a £24K turbo diesel with all the bits has had numerous faults - aircon 3 times, ignition switch, central locking, fuel system, suspension, brakes, cooling fan.
The 206cc is an awesome piece of engineering for £15K to £18K. It is based on a low end mainstream production car and is after all a lump of metal. They are as good as any of the others in their class, and from our experience, can be better. All cars and manufacturers in this class can and will have some problems - don't go looking for them.
Drop the roof, accept a few rattles and squeaks, stop moaning and enjoy the cars !!
