hi new at this got a 206 petrol
nothing seems to work electrical low power unless the car is jacked up
then everything works fine any clues please .

Sounds like a poor earth connection to the body. First check the earth connection to the engine/gearbox, then all the others. Must be bright metal-to-metal. Cover with silicone grease after tightening to prevent a recurrence.
