Parcel shelf actuator replacement .

Hi everyone ,
Just purchased a 206cc for the wife ( and for me to be honest !!) ,we live in Malta and purchased a low mileage 2002 . Everything was going great , until the roof started playing up , there was a leak and the mechanic tracked it to an actuator, no problems says I ,order a new one ,couple of week later ,they get back and say that Peugeot has stopped making them. I have tried loads of sites to get one ,but they are like hens teeth, I have looked back through some of the posts on here with links to eBay sites ,but most are dead links as the posts are old . I believe the part number is 8446G1, I have a picture. Its getting frustrating , can anyone recommend website/breakers or specialist parts shops that may be worth a try ?. Not a problem about delivery , I will get it sent to a UK address. Great site by the way ,good to know its not just me with loads of quirky problems with my car .

A hydraulic specialist may be able to repair it.

Thanks Col, I saw that on a previous post that it was successful, if I cant get a replacement, I was going to ship it back to UK and try that.
