My car battery always used to drain quickly so we got a new battery a couple of months ago and that fixed the problem with it not starting. Over Christmas I got a new stereo which I installed without an aerial adapter and it was working fine and so was the car, when I went to put the adapter in the radio stopped turning on and the car started as normal. However when I went to see if the radio worked the next day the ending would keep turning over but would never start.
Other things:
Central locking through key is working then not then working again etc
I tried starting it multiple times but still just turned over without starting
The car normally fails to start first time but second works fine
Before the stereo stopped I switched the red and yellow wires around as it wasn't saving settings and by doing this it fixes the problem and I was able to start and run the car that day (Thursday)
Sorry for formatting im on mobile and this is extra information that may or may not be relevant, thanks
Edit tried to jumpstart no luck also when I did the radio before when it didn't turn on i was pulling stereo out and wire got caught and connector was pulled apart but I just put it together as they are the red and yellow wires with connectors so you can switch around easily but not sure if I pulled something else so I looked in and saw a connector made sure it was secure and it was so that makes me very confused

Re: Car battery? problems
Which Peugeot 206cc do you have? 1.6 or 2.0? Petrol or diesel. Year of manufacture?
Don't try operating the roof until you have got to the bottom of this else you'll just drain the battery and possibly cause more problems.
Sounds to me as if a fuse or fuses have blown. Have you tried uninstalling the aerial adaptor to see if that makes a difference?

This is the forum for coupe-convertible owners so none of us are likely to have your engine and vehicle configuration. You will do better on the forum for hatchback owners http://www.206info.co.uk/
