My wife was cleaning her car and for some reason left the roof part down for about 5 mins. The then it went down into its position in the boot by its self. Then it would not go up or down. I then got home. I think the boot lid must have been in its reverse position but I have then put the boot lid down in its normal position. The black "parcel shelf" has not come into its correct position. The roof will not move just makes the beep beep beep noise when the operating switch is in the up and down position. No problems with roof before.
Can someone please help. My wife is distraught.

Follow the instruction in the Handbook for closing the roof manually. You won't need to release the parcel shelf, of course. When it is all up and locked, try to lower it in the normal way.
