Rear ABS sensors
Hi ive just bought an 04 plate 1.6 206cc . the abs light is on , rear sensors , ordered two new sensors and went to fit but for some reason they wont fit , the old sensors were just pushed in and not bolted .. it looks like the previous owner had some work done on the rear braking system , possibly new abs rings .. Is there a variant on the abs rings ?? the ones on there now seem to stop the sensor from sitting in properly ??
help required urgently (to stop the wife from nagging at me ) cheers in advance

Re: Rear ABS sensors
The rear abs rings are the magnetic type on your car. Reluctor ring type pick ups wont work.
Cheers Col.

Re: Rear ABS sensors
Just updating my post , found out from previous owner that a refurbished rear axle was fitted , thing is it had the wrong hubs on it ,so sourcing the correct hubs was quite easy as my local scrapyard hard a front damaged 206cc 20 mins and the hubs were in my possession , fitted to my 206 and bingo problem solved
