Heater blower

Anyone have any suggestions for heater blower not working? I have had the blower out of the car and applied 12v to it and it spins freely. I have changed the 'Hedgehog ' type resistor and checked the fuse. But still it refuses to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is the non-climate-control type with the rotary fan control switch, it could be the switch is defective.

Hi i am having similar issues with mine, check and see if you have 12v to 2 pin switch on fan when ignition on
Mine is climate control, I have no supply from fuse

Just a thought , i replaced my speed control ( hedgehog type) and it has fixed it, just a point to make which i wasnt aware of ? Blower only works with engine running,
