Is it me or does anyone else have a problem with there nozzles blocking all the time?
Im told this is a common problem on 206's.
Ive just had to get a pin out on it again, I also have the problem of scratches on my windscreen. This isnt good, how do I prevent this with my CC when I get it anytime nowish ??

I had problems with my 206 jets. Fiddled with a needle only to make it worse and the jets then shot over the windscreen missing mine and cleaning the car behind me!

Well, it was my Uncle that used to be the general manager of a Pug dealer, said they replaced all the jets on used cars to save them the hassle.
When I got my car serviced (at a different dealer ) I asked them to replace them, but they said it was a waste of money and they could jet wash them out .... they wanted some silly cash ... 2 pounds ...
, so I let them do it ...
It fixed it for about 4 months then it returned.
Maybe its just the area my car is parked in during the day ... I do tend to more often than not end up with a film of dust on the windscreen every day, no matter what weather.

Try diluting your washer fluid bottle with a bit more water.
Too much washer concentration can bung up your washer jets.
An never try an do it on the cheap by filling a washer bottle with washing up liquid which will bung up the washer bottle/jets for good.
Robbie.

Try sticking a pin down it until you get a trickle through then flush through with warm water (not boiling, you'll melt the bottle under the bonnet!) - fill it up, then sit ya car and just keep squirting. It might take a few fills but usually works for me. Mine clog up AFTER they've been to the dealer - think they put washer fluid in neat. D'oh

Some years ago, my mother thought she was doing me a favour by filling up my washer bottle one day with neat washing up liquid :sad:On 2002-08-05 08:25, andrew wrote:Thats a good point about putting more water in. Mothers ! It took me an hour to strip out the washer bottle and clean out the clogged up mess.
