Roof cable that operates the catch snapped

Is it possible to buy new ones, or do I need to buy a whole assembly?

The cables are part of the Lock Kit (basically cables plus catches).

Part No 8484 P5 Left Lock Kit
Part No 8484 P6 Right Lock Kit

If they are still available for Peugeot, expect to pay a lot. The alternative would be a scrappy. They sometimes appear on EBay.
