Horrendous juddering wipers

Hi again,
Yesterday was the first time I've ever driven my newly acquired 206 cc in the rain.
It had recently had some new wiper blades fitted by the previous owner, but the things where horrendous in operation.
The juddering of the wipers was so bad you could hardly hear yourself think inside the car.
The blades where Bosch and of that fancy new style bladed type.
Once home I set about giving them and the windscreen a thorough clean to no joy.
In the end I nipped down to
Halfords and got some replacements but of the old school types and this instantly cured my annoying woes.
Oddy enough, I checked there sizing web site and the 206 cc came back as using a 22" and a 16" blade.
16" is way to small so don't rely on there info on this.
I ended up getting two 22" blades which seems to fit and work perfectly.
Moral of this short story is don't take Halfords recommended wiper blade sizes for being correct and steer clear of those new style bladed types.
