where can I get new rear shock mount bolts and nuts

Hi

I've looked on service box and found the Peugeot code and non-are available. I've looked at GSF and Euro car parts and still can't find them.

I need the upper and lower mount screws and nuts for my new rear shock absorbers

Can someone suggest what I should be searching for? I see nothing on eBay and Peugeot parts Direct so they're out of stock.

Any ideas?

Are they just a simple nut and bolt affair?
If so could you just take one off and compare it to another at a local hardware /engineering business.
Do you have an old school type garage restoration business near by who may well have a good selection of nuts bolts kicking around.

I managed to get the nuts on order from Peugeot parts Direct and luckily I'm local so pick them up without paying for shipment


The upper and lower bolts are out of stock, but I've requested that they let me know when they arrive


I think your idea is probably going to be my only way to get new ones, but that means it will delay me fitting the shocks as I'll need the old bolts to make sure I get exactly the right size and it's in the correct tensile strength, et cetera

Another thought is to how crusty are the original nuts and bolts.
If there not to bad maybe you could re use them again.

Panic over
Peugeot parts Direct I've now got them in stock
I haven't taken them off yet, but looking at the amount of rust on the originals I think the heads will get damaged when I do

When it gets a bit warmer and less wet, I'll do the job

A garage quoted £390 and that would've fitted some cheap shocks so I decided to do it myself
