i couldnt believe that the convertable was cheaper to insure.

Norwich Union Direct (online) beat all quotes I could get by £100 (with online discount)
I still have a problem with GREENLIGHT INSURANCE, bunch of numb-skulls.
Pick a number between 1 and 20, times it by 100, divide by the number of turnips that appeared in the second series of Black Adder, Add the number of Royals who have been to Gloucester, times by a random number, minus the price of a Ginsters Cornish Pastie, discard that number and make something up that sounds vaguely ridiculous..there you have it....your insurance quote
Like the colleague today, got 3 quotes for around £880 (not a CC), rang Admiral
'blah blah, what other quotes do you have ?'
'Oh, around £860' (trying to play the game)
'Can't do that sir, not with six points'
'Oh, well Norwich Union Direct can, as will elephant.co.uk'
'err...We can't Sir, not with six points, sorry, afraid we can't beat it' <hang up almost immediately>
Elephant.co.uk is part of Admiral, the muppet didn't even recommend them, and they couldn't match elephants quote ?
