twin headlight questions

Thinking of getting the twin (triple?) headlight conversion for our yet-to-be-delivered CC, but have a couple of questions:

1) What are the three lights (dip, main and sidelight or indicator?)
2) How many come on with full beam (two or four)?
3) What bulbs do the various beams take?
4) Anyone had a HID conversion done?
5) I assume they work OK with the auto-lights

Yep u got from the inside out indicator, dipped, sidelight and full beams in the last one.

2 of them on each headlight cause u have ur dipped ones on and the fullbeams

No idea there still havent had to change mine

If u mean the twin healight conversion yeah i got it and so does paul and m275 and a few others. If u wanna check mine out i'm owner 86 there are a couple of pics and to see on a black one look at the mini meet pics

5) I assume they work OK with the auto-lights

They should do yeah, maybe Paul can clear this up for us cause mine is non multiplex

Thanks. The bit about HIDs was whether anyone had put High Intensity Gas Discharge units in instead of the bulbs. Generally you can't do this on cars with single reflectors and H4 bulbs (dip/main) as the HID units only do dip or main (not both). But if you've got quads you can put in HIDs for dip, main or both.

Ive got the bulbs qwith the blue tints fitted - looks lovely at nite (not that I can see it cos im inside the car)
