I seem to remember being told or reading that that CC has a 2 year or 20k mile service interval.

Is that right?

Its coming up to a year old with only 7000 miles on the clock - should I get it serviced on 12 months anyway?

yes 2 years or 20,000 is correct.

its a choice only you can make.........

depends I suppose how much you local Peugeot Monkeys want for some oil and a filter - not much change from £100 I bet.

You could always do the oil change yourself...

Halfords quoted me £35 quid for an oil and filter change using Castrol GTX Magnatec.
Seems quite reasonable to me, 20K's quite a long way to go without an oil change.

Because, on average, that's how long it takes my oil to start looking yucky

Yeah, well. Oil changes are cheaper than colour coding, and more noticeable when you start the engine

Anyway, this is quite a cool link:

20k is correct- but like the others i think that is too long to go, so i got the oil & filter changed @ 10k @ my peugeot garage. they charged (if i remember rightly) about £65. be VERY careful about using 3rd party providers because of warranty issues

As long as you use the Peugeot-recommended filter, you're not going to have a problem.

They're hardly likely to sample the oil are they?
