In my local freebie newspaper it meantions a special black and silver edition cc with red carpet and boot rack for £500 extra.

Only goes to show that peugeot believes the bootrack enhances the look of the car.

I have the CC silver/black brochure. I can't see the sense in paying an extra 500 quid for a 250 quid boot rack. There doesn't seem to be much else 'special edition' about it (it's silver, or black, which are colours you can get anyway). It's also over 17k which seems a lot for a 206.

i think the £275 metallic paint, £700 leather and £215 boot rack justifies the extra £500 - i wish they were out when i got mine.

Glad to see those sexy bootracks have another admirer, even if it does make financial sense

PS. You can't persuade me you'd only be buying it for the saving on the metallic an leather, selling the bootrack in the process ;)

I may be wrong, but my recollection was that if you add on the price of the leather (which also adds the height adjustable seat) the paint (black is cheaper than metallic) and the bootrack, it still comes to less than the 'special edition' asking price.

You're right!
Black SE with leather: £17,095
'Black' Spec Ed: £16,695

So for £400 less you get a boot rack thrown in too. I just thought that for a 'special edition' they might put a bit more in (twin headlights, SP grille, arch extensions, some special edition badging).

Fortunately ours is coming from France for significantly less than either of these figures.

i suppose they could have given it some special edition badging and called it an SE

as for the other extra's - i guess they aren't trying to give the cars away
