I attend several track days a year with another car club, and having spoken to the organiser, he is prepared to put on a track day for us if we can guarantee 15 cars / drivers.
The track is Curborough, near to Lichfield.
Its a fairly short sprint track, but is excellent fun.
Generally the days are run on a Wednesday, and the cost would be £35.00 per driver.
Track time is unlimited and the way it works is that you go out, do six laps, come off and get on the back of the queue. Generally we would want to limit the cars to about 30.
Last wednesday I did 6 x 6 lap sessions - and this was plenty - It is quite hard work.
Helmets are compulsary for driver and passenger(s)
There is only one car on the track at a time (which is why I like it) and not a lot to hit, with reasonable grass run offs.
If there is sufficient interest, I can move this forwards.
