Can't you change back to the old way of choosing which last posts to read? I had to log off quickly earlier as I am in work and therefore supposed to be working (its not on is it
) So when I logged back in there was only one post in my last viewed bit. Missed out on reading lots of recent posts 
Too lazy to trawl through all the sections to see what was last posted
