I do not have an owners manual for my new 2 litre 206cc and I wondered if someone could tell me if it is possible to make the boot unlock with the central locking rather than having to unlock it manually every time.

An owners manual has been on backorder for weeks and the dealer is still unable to say when it is likely to arrive. Does anyone have a spare that I could buy or know where I could buy one from?

Many thanks

I don't think it's possible, at least it says it's not possible in my manual

The boot lock on the cc is so anoying and the build quality of the handle just above the rear number plate is terrible (feels like its going to snap off every time i open the boot) :(

is anyone elses the same ?

Nope, cant open boot without physically turning the key :( . The reason for that is when parking with roof down you can lock thing in the boot without fearing anyone open it since they can access inside the car (boot release button, or pull up the door lock - most of us in AU dont have dead lock). Although a seperate boot open button on the FOB would be nice, then again i am asking for too much.

(would scanning the user manual to PDF violate any copy right laws and pass it to other user like in this case?... just asking would take forever to scan one)

you can't unlock the boot with your fob, but what maybe useful is if you do unlock the boot and don't lock the doors when you get in the car, then the boot remains unlocked, so you just have to push in the button. Something i have found to be very useful to this annoying problem
