Hi all,
Finally picked up my cc from A&J and want to know if its just me or is there a problem with the radio ... I know given the fact that the europeans have complained about roof leaks this might seam like a minor problem but every time I enter nova 96.9 (ok keep the grimaces about my music prefs to a minimum) it will be fine for the trip - ie I can alternate between CD and radio ok - but as soon as remove the key the menu displays Nova 96.9 but skips it to the next preset ( 2day Fm - set by dealer - )
Is it a problem that would warrant the dealers attention? I have followed the instructions in the manual as to recording a station to no evail.
Please help I cant take any more of the Morning Crew

I've had mine less than a month, and I did have a bit of a problem one time. When I tried to change to the second preset using the stalk control dial, and it would keep "slipping" off it back to the third one.
I managed to stop it happening by setting that preset again, ie manually tune the radio to the station you want and then hold the preset number button in until the sound comes back on, meaning that it has been stored. I'm not sure if it is a permanent fix or not, but at least it has worked till now.
Cheers

Welcome Welcome to the club, looks like majority of the sydney owners bought their car from A & J
My radio does the same thing as well ........... this is only the beginning of your adventure with the Peugeot Quality program ......... Just kidding
So, which model /colour did you get?
You should come and join us on the next Sydney meet which is on ........... whenever ..... hehe.
cheers

Yep, same problem with the radio. My dealer did a reset however the problem came back. Mine reverts to position 2 (ie if I push position 3 it goes back to 2). The workaround I've used is use the stalk to tune and then reprogram the poisition 3 button. It's a pain but I can live with it.
Cheers

Welcome to the club Grant, sorry to hear about your drama with A&J, but then the wait was worth it wasn't it?
Can't comment on the radio problem - don't listen to the radio enough - give me a good CD anyday.
I've had my Green 2.0 for 3 weeks and so far haven't had any major problems, except for the review mirror shaking loose on my way to Manly - guys & gals, check the glue of yours
Happy CC'ing to you all and heres to a great 2003 to all 206CC owners - looking forward to the next meet

yeah same problem with the radio as Trung already mention...
the problem is not removing the key, it seem to happen at random interval so i cant really put finger on why it does it.
I saw a red turning of smithfield rd into the street where fairfield golfcourse is recently, was that you Grant?
Saw a green park in the castle towel carpark today afvo, Noel?
Big hi to both

I had the same problem with my stereo and it was driving me mad. Ive only had the car 4 months and I wasnt impressed, anyway I took the CC to my dealer Trivett at Arncliffe and they booked me in for a week later and changed the stereo for a complete new one for me. The head guy there says its the only way to rectify the problem, swap the system for the new one! Youre covered under warranty so Id be insisting on a new one from your dealers........no one wants to fool around with the syupid radio just to keep it on its station!
I havent had a problem since the change over!!
