ok i had this problem and its simple. take it your glove box, open it up and there are a 6 (i think) small screws. uno then and it slides out. u will then see a black rubber grommit. take it out and drill a 10mm hole there. run your wires and through the grommit as well (keeps it all water tight).

JOB DONE.

I'm trying to do this as well - is this the gromit on the left on the square(ish) black plastic thing where all theother wires go through?

Ah great, yep that's actually what I meant - in that large plastic bit loads of wires come through the centre...

Well I know what I mean, cheers for the prompt reply!!

OK, well hole now exists!

Next question is what's the best way of running power from there to the boot? I assume under the carpet & under the back seats? I take it that means removing those back seats?

Will have to wait for a bit anyway, need to go & pick a friend up from the train station. Hmm... sunny, mild, dry, clear sky... think I'll be driving with the top down! Hope my friend appreciates the thrill of having wind in your hair... there again she has long hair and I don't have a wind stop :O

Tough!

ok remove the black thing holding the carpet to the side. then pull the carpet back. its held down by white plastic clips. run teh cable with the existing wires which are there. then u simply push the carpet back and it clips into place. remove the back panels on the rear seats. undo the front of the base of the rear seats. lift up the base and run the cable underneath. when u remove the back panels u will find a BIG hole. run it through this and it will poke into the boot. make sure u keep all the relevant leads separate to each other. ie run the power cable on th one side of the car and the remote etc.... on the other side. :D 8)
