Is this just me or does anyone else have this problem. My little rubber gromits that are supposed to hold the mats in place keep coming out even after twisting them and locking them into place. Each morning I get into the car the d***n things have popped out. This usually results in me hunting under the seats to find them. This is starting to annoy me! (like twisted hangers). Is there a cure? (for the gromits I mean).

I'm sure the gromits arn't up to scratch as I don't seem to do the equivelant of riverdance when I'm driving and each time I stop the're out again!!

Tried leaving them off but the mats tend to move, not nice in this sort of muddy weather.

I reckon it is the free mouse that CC owners get with their CC.
If your confused by this comment - ask people about their squeaking clutch pedal!
Maybe the mouse likes to mess you about or just needs some TLC!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's suffered from the squeaky clutch. It's gone away now though, the dealer lubricated it when they were fixing all my cc's other problems.

I'm interested to hear about the mat problems 'cos I was thinking of getting some standard 206 ones. My confidence in Peugeot's carpeting skills has taken a bit of a knock due to the fact that my carpet appears too small and keeps popping out from under the door sills on either side - anyone else seen that one before or shall we add it to the list? ;)

Justin.

Hi Justin
yes my carpet does that. The garage replaced the drivers side carpet clip for a new one and I have no problem with it since. Passenger side does it too but couldnt be bothered to take it in again as I get my new one in a few days.:):):)

I'm glad it's not only me Liz, it's driving me to distraction. I'll see if Peugeot can replace them when it goes in for its first service.

Thanks Robbie.
