I didn't agere totally with this test - it wasn't a proper IQ test. There were questions in it that meant you needed knowledge which is not a proper test of your IQ...
For example the telephone keypad one where you had to say where the number 0 is. OK so 99% of people will know this, but it's not strictly an IQ test.
Also the language phrases - if you didn't know what the saying means then how are you supposed to answer the questions?
OK so maybe I'm just bitter coz I only got 116, but last time I got 134 and they were much more IQ-oriented questions (apart from one I remember about a bus or coach.. can't remember the details though!)

I was so hacked off last night cos my score was only 115 (I'd got 130 last year which really narked other half cos he got 129!) - this year he got 130, so I went to bed in a reet grump - I've always been SUCH a bad loser!! I reckon I lost out this year cos I did the test online, and other half came in and started talking to me while I was trying to concentrate on the table of words that you had to remember (well its my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!) But Matt you've made me feel better by telling me that the test wasn't as good as last years - I can stop hanging my head in shame, and maybe even put all my toys back in my pram!!
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

Actually, it is. IQ does actually require some level of prior knowledge. Most questions can't be answered without some prior knowledge. Even 2+2 requires the knowledge of what the characters "2" and "+" represent.
The main problem I had with it was that Anne Robinson talked over every bloody question. How are you meant to concentrate on a 20 second question when she talks over it for 10 seconds. In the end I turned it off and did it online.
133, by the way. About the same as last year.
