The weather's crap, there's nowt on TV, so please, please tell me have I just been an extremely lazy cow to drive the 1/4 mile to the local Spar shop to buy a Crunchie (mmmmm Crunchie!) or was it actually an ideal opportunity to pose in my car cos it hasn't been out of the drive since Monday? - my next door neighbours thought it was hysterical!!

Very reasonable to me, we drove to the little chef for breakfast the other day only, 3/4 mile. roof down 9.00am in the morning. Nobody noticed.

Thats life, i am still trying to get northern ccer's to wave, with no luck

perfectly reasonable - i even reverse my CC into the driveway to ensure that it's less steps to my front door :D

Pedantic I know, but surely it would be LESS steps to your frontdoor if you drove into your driveway as the front of your car would be closer to the door? ;)

Only if you park right in front of your door - many people don't ;)

I park on my drive which is down the side of the house...

I was really good today - I walked to the shop to post my letters rather than driving. Ok so it was only cos my little car hasn't got much petrol left in it (don't tell anyone but I'm rather hoping that other half will drive it to work tomorrow and fill it up for me!!) then I can get back to driving it the 1/4 mile to get my crunchie fix! Well I can't afford to fill it up every week now I'm income-less - Gissa job mate!

one foot in front of the other, Derek - its quite simple really! I did however forget to mention that the local lads were playing cricket on the green between my house and the shop, so the real reason that I walked to the shop was to give me more opportunity to leer. There's some fit blokes round here.....

Two points:

1. Reversing onto MY drive means fewwer steps to the front door, since i dont then have to walk round the car :D

2. I beat you all for laziness - i have been known to pull up on kerbs to post letters/put things in bin so i dont have to get out of the car. Bearing in mind that when i lived with mum & dad the postbox was only 4 houses up!

we did consider having a bigger conservatory than we ended up with. We thought it would be easy for bringing the shopping in, just drive straight in. Also would be good to sit in the car in front of the TV and play with the Xbox :)

I got a bollocking once for reversing my car underneath the roof bit to the side of the front doors of folkestone sainsburys coz it was raining really hard and i didnt want to get wet - not really down to laziness but it was fun all the same. Especially the looks i got off all the old dears
