friday 18th on 12.43 shuttle,in front of me

two lovely girls,told about site,agreed we all sound weird but will look at on monday

lexus lites,sp grill and a roof that didnt work

think i scared them a bit,sorry girls,im not a perv,well,almost not

I was that girl on the shuttle and no you didn't scare me!!!

Didn't know this site existed so thanks for the tip!

Would appreciate any help on the broken roof. Have had the car since December 2001 and had no problems up to now. With this hot weather am really embarrassed driving round with the roof up (I'm normally the one shouting at all the other convertable drivers with roofs up!)

Open the clips on the roof and no audible sound and no movement. Any suggestions on how to fix?

No idea about the roof I am afraid. May need to take it to your dealer which I am guessing is Charters in Camberley.
Yep I live near you! There are a few of us about on here - can't say I have seen you on the roads though!
Glad to see our resident wheel repair it man didn't scare you off!

Probably a dealer trip but maybe worth checking here or in your manual to ensure the two white clips on the boot release at either side are in the "automatic" position.

Also worth note whether you get the "warning" noise when you try to actuate the roof which if missing might indicate a fuse or similar failure.

Finally there is a visible microswitch on the left hand side of the boot where the safety screen slips into which you can hear clicks as you put that in place. The roof won't move unless that one is closed.
