Don't read ahead if you want the storyline of Eastenders to be a surprise!!

Monday 28 July

Laura is worried sick about her baby whose condition has worsened overnight and is in urgent need of a blood transfusion. Laura's blood is incompatible but the father's blood should be a match. Laura rings Garry, who offers to donate, but, unknown to Garry, the midwife tells Laura that his blood type is different from the baby's.
Elsewhere, Dennis reflects on his father, and Jim is relieved when Pauline persuades Dot to go back to work.

Tuesday 29 July

After a tense night at the hospital, Laura's baby seems to be recovering and she passes on the good news to Garry, who promises to look after both Laura and the baby.
Joanne is upset to see Kate and Phil happy together and laments to Zoe and Kelly about her problems. They have little sympathy for her and are convinced that it is time the nanny found a new object for her affections.

Thursday 31 July

Martin celebrates his 18th birthday with a party at the girls' new flat. Ronny flirts with Zoe, who is flattered but plays it down in front of Kelly. The birthday boy himself however, gets lucky with Kelly.
Meanwhile, Laura and Garry name the baby and Dennis is worried that he is being followed.

Friday 1 August

Phil is disgusted with Joanne's behaviour and tells her that he wants her to leave the house. However, that is the least of his worries. Concerned that he is being followed by the police, Phil pays a visit to Marsden, but she reveals it is not them who are watching him.
Meanwhile, a proud Garry shows off photographs of his son while Janine scams shopping money from Barry.

Monday 4 August

Laura brings baby Bobby home but things are not as easy as she thought. Garry is enthusiastic and wants to be there as much as possible. But it seems that suddenly Garry's support is the last thing that Laura wants.
Sharon is pleased to hear of some new business for the club and goes to meet her prospective client. However, it turns out to be a ruse to get Dennis alone as Andy has some questions for him.
Martin has a business plan for the allotment and Adi's lie about his girlfriend gets out of control.

Tuesday 5 August

Ian is struggling to come to terms with the fact that Laura and the baby are holding court in the Square. When she buys gifts for the children, it is the last straw for Ian. Laura begs him not to blame the baby, and asks that he let the children get to know Bobby.
Natalie and Jack have come down with the flu and an enthusiastic Barry welcomes them home for a few days for some love and care. This, however, does not fit in with Janine's plans, and she plots for them to leave.
Elsewhere, Little Mo plans a girlie night at the Queen Vic to get her business off to a flying start, and Martin scrounges money from Pauline for his own venture.

Thursday 7 August

While Barry and Natalie are getting along fine, Janine steps up her plan and involves Paul for added support.
Garry has sensed that Laura is not keen for him to spend time with Bobby. Armed with the knowledge on fathers' rights, he pays Laura a visit and she discovers that she does need his help after all.
The women of Walford gather at the Queen Vic for Little Mo's underwear party. Spirits are high and Martin, Spencer and Asif are determined to get a look in. With a video camera planted, they relax and wait for the tape, but it becomes apparent that the person who would benefit most from watching the footage is Alfie.
Meanwhile, Martin shows Pauline the special "French Basil", and Dot offers to stay on temporarily at the laundrette.

Friday 8 August

Little Mo loses out on the lingerie franchise which puts added pressure on Billy to pay back the money they have borrowed from Charlie. However, Billy's attempts to drum up support do not go well and he receives some devastating news from Ian.
Kat and Alfie plan a quiet night but, unbeknown to Alfie, Bay has heard about the boys' secret tape from the night before and suspects his involvement.
