quick Question re: Std Head and RCA Line Outs

Hi,

To save me pulling my car to bits does anyone know if the Std CD head unit has any RCA line outs on the backs.

I'm considering adding a small powered sub in the cockpit area but for now don't want to change my head unit as I'm planning a single din sized screen, dvd, cd, mp3 and sat nav down the line (but technology is still too expensive) so money spent on a head unit now would be a waste.

No it doesn't have RCA lineouts. The best you can do is get an amp with high level inputs so you can plug the speaker outputs from the HU directly into the amp.

Alternatively, you can buy a high to low impedence convertor that converts speaker level outputs to line level.
