Replacing the centre of the dash

Does anyone know how i would go about doing this? What i want to do is replace the middle part of the dash where the Climate control, Radio and computer display are located and replace it with probably a custom one that has a screen the lifts up from where the computer display is now and is completely invisable when closed, i'm not to fused about how this effects the radio area but i want to leave the Climate controls where they are, the Parotech CC is the only example i could find like this, i've stuck in a pic for you to see wht i mean, the Parotech one is exactly how i'd like it but i want it to be a bit more in the style of a normal CC, any suggestions at all would be great, Cheers

Also could the current computer be connected up to display on the new screen?
