Had my 206 for about 2 months after buying privately.
It's a Jan 2001 car so has 6 months remaining of warranty remaining and has only done 16k miles so far.
After taking the car on it's first decent run out of town i noticed when dropping down into 3rd from 4th it would grate and make horrible noises!
So a couple of weeks ago i took it into Bramalls to look at.
I thought they'd question where i bought the car from, about the service history(it does have full Pug history) etc but no questions at all were made.
Booked the car in for some diagnosis and they asked that i left the car with the at a future date for fixing.
So yesterday it went in and i was told it would be a week so i got a courtesy car. Nice little 03 plate 206 HDi Eco.
Put £15 of diesel in it to last the week (they can do 65 mpg apparently!!). I even washed it last night and cleaned the windows as couldn't see out of it! - well i was keeping it a week!!
This morning though i got a phone call to say my car was ready already!! After just 1 day!!
How's that for service. Took courtesy car back and they didn't even charge me the £10 i was told i'd have to pay for the courtesy car!! Suppose that made up for the near half tank of fuel i'd left in it.
So well done CD Bramalls!! Previously only been to Fiat dealers and wasn't impressed so was unsure what to expect of Peugeot!
Best bit of all is that they seem to have even fixed the car!!
