After taking my cc in for its weekly visit !!! it occurred to me that the service people must be sick of seeing CCs. The service reception lady said to me "ah , Ryan back again eh? Thats what you get for having a CC, but they do get a good write up in the sunday mags!"
This struck me that she more anyone must realise how crap these cars can be. This alarmed me a bit . I went on to tell her that I used to have a ford puma and it was a far better car in terms of reliability. She agreed.
This gives me no confidence in the car whatsoever , especially when i visit they also seem to be fixing 2 or 3 other cc's which is a bit alarming as I hardly ever see any on the roads. The only time I see other CCs is in the next service bay!
Do other people get similar bad vibes from their service dept?
happy CC'ing
Ryan

my service people always have a smile on their faces. It annoys me especially when they are trying to fob me off . As for reliability I have had cars by Ford , vauxhall , fiat , citroen and peugeot and the only cars that have given me a headache have been French. thus I will never buy another french car again. The way I see it is they design a great car and then dont know how to put it together.

my experience of CC's so far has been far from good, but another 6 new peugeots since 1994 have gave me virtually no problems at all. my first car was an old renault, also french and i also had no problems.
i only need to look at ford fiesta's my dad had in 1987, 1991 and 1994, the first two leaked badly after many repair attempts and they were as basic as you get, not convertibles.

Im not saying all fords etc are great and all french cars are rubbish - far from it.
its just im my experiance i have had 8 cars (4 brand new) and the only ones that have caused me trouble have been a saxo vtr and a pug 206 cc. perhaps ive just been unlucky with my experiance of french cars
I know there are some satisfied CC owners out there (I dont want to upset anyone with my negative vibes)but you only have to luck at this forum to see the problems people like me ( and some worse) are having.
Dont get me wrong guys I really love my CC but The weekly faults are starting to outweigh my love of the car . I just keep praying the car will soon begin to settle down or I will unfortunately have to look elsewhere for motoring enjoyment
