There are a few screws you need to remove first. From memory there's one on the edge of the door (other side to the hinge) and one under the plastic bit where the tweeter is. You'll also need to remove the outside of the plastic door handle. I think there may also be a few screws at the bottom... they shouldn't be hard to find.
Then it's just a matter of pulling the door card off starting at the bottom. A screwdriver is useful here.
One thing to note though - there are quite a few small white plastic clips that hold the door on. It's inevitable that some of these will break when you take the door card off. What I did is buy 10 spare ones fron a Peugeot dealer - they only cost a few pence each.

1. screw back (the open end)
2. Screw at the front (the hindge end)
3. screw in the hole (the handle pull to close door)
4. Pull the small piece of plastic at the corner containing the tweeter (it just clip on) there you find another screw
5. unclip the small plastic surround the aluminium lever (the thing open the door with), this is the hardest one of all to remove, i actually break the plastic clip behind it while trying to pull it out, i found that if you do the step 6 before this it will become a bit loose and easier to jiggle out.
6. when all uncrew get something which you can pry the plastic door pannel away from the metal without scratching the paint once you got you finger unger the panel pop yank it out.
i think patient is the key for this one
good luck

thanks Matt and Huu.
i was at the peugeot dealer and they gave me the tool for removing the door panel and it couldnt have been easier.
didnt break one on the first but 2 clips broke on the 2nd one. no matter.
after reading your instruction Huu i did step 6 first and the surround came off real easy
thanks to Trung for his speaker recommendation and getting them for me, the kenwood ones slotted straight in.
i assumed that input #2 was positive all the way around so hope its right but sounds great now.
bye,
Ian
