The battery died on our CC.

Obviously we need the code.

We can't find ours but someone suggested that they come with a standard code (0010 or similar) is this true.

If not can we get the code from Peugeot or the dealer?

Ask the original supplying dealer for it. They should have it on their records.
Give them the chassis number and tell them anything else you know about it to prove it's your car!!

look in the folder of user manual for a little card with details of the code or radio/cd user manual at the back. Hope it there...

Sorted - got back to me late yesterday.

Gave me the radio code, said not to worry about the keycode as it is all on file and this sort of thing is quite common.

Need to sort the alarm now, they suggested there is a problem with the windows dropping when shutting the doors on 206's - even though only a fraction its enough to alter the cabin pressure/conditions to set the alarm off.
