I thought there was gonna be some big storyline about Alfie and his first marriage. My guess is that he thinks he's divorced, marries Kat, then wife 1 turns up saying they're still married. Just a guess, but Eastenders and Corrie quite often have similar storylines (ie. Bigamy)
