Was in Costco today and saw the Snooper SR-6 neo for £293, the normal price is £399.99 so if you are looking for one that's the place to go :D

Hi

I think you'll find it's not the S6-R but the S6 GPS only, so it'll only be able to alert you to fixed speed cameras and not the mobile ones.

Not a bad price at £293 (although there's a joining fee if you aren't already a member.)

Separate radar/laser detector units available from www.RadarDetectors.co.uk for £ 100 if you phone up. Price on the website is £150, or £420 for the whole thing including the radar bit.

at a guess i would say if it says Snooper SR-6 neo on the box then that must be what is inside. it gives a list on the box of what it covers but i never wrote it down - i think snooper have a website that will give more info.

mobile camera's if not covered aren't a big deal as if there is a mobile site, there will be signs up and markings on the road. the biggest problem is the laser ones and whatever else the police use, specs i think as you can't see them - hence why they caught me.

If it was one box that had S6 Neo on it then it was just the S6.

If it was two boxes joined together in one sleeve with the RLD in as well then it's the S6-R Neo.

Snoopers website is www.PerformanceProducts.co.uk but this won't tell you what Costco are selling!!!!

For information about the best thing to buy go to www.RadarDetectors.co.uk where there's loads of information on what model is best for detecting what (not forgetting those pesky athermic windscreens of course, which will block GPS and radar signals)

it says SR-6 neo so can't be anything other than that. the box isn't on display, just generic POS packaging as they are a bit expensive to be piled up and small enough for someone to nick.

to keep things simple, if it says SR-6 neo then it's illegal for it to be anything other than that.

you get some great buys in costco on high value lines and this is probably one of them.

And have you checked out the exact term 'SR-6 neo' on the manufacturer's website yet?
