Hello All,

Good Friday huh! not for me

I've spent all day installing my nice new kenwood headunit, amp 'n' sub. I switched it on and everything seemed fine......

Until I had a look round the back of the car and my brake lights were on permenently.!! They came on with the ignition, the engine doesn't need to be running. I had taken the power for the amp straight off the battery and the ignition power from the cigar lighter.

I thought I must have done something wrong so I started with a process of elimination, first disconnected the amp, then the headunit, then I put everything back the way it was this morning and they're still on!

Has anyone any suggestions about what I could do to put it right or is it just a trip to Peugeot?

Cheers

Bri

in the passenger footwell (i think) or maybe drivers, there's a little connection box somewhere that got slighty disconnected that controls the brake lights, sure someone else had the same trouble, do a forum search, if no joy post again and we'll see if we can help :D

Great stuff, thanks Lyndon. I'll give it a try in the morning. I've found the post you mentioned and your memory is very good - Passenger footwell. Thanks for your help, once again this forum has helped me out
