Thanks for the advice with the problem I was having with the dealer (Roof problem before I took delivery Posted 20/4/02), glad to say car is about to be delivered on Saturday 4th May so here's keeping my fingers crossed.
I would like to know from all your previous experiences "What to look out for when I receive my New 206CC"
Is there anything I should pay particular attention to when I check it over?
It is a Silver 1.6 with Alloys, Sports pack and leathers
Look Forward to all your advice.

hi,
when we bought ours we spent ages going through the forum looking at all the faults people had had and checked for them all! unfortunately we no longer have the list but from memory:
· boot fouling rear screen when opened/closed.
· interior floor carpets not meeting/secured under the doors in the footwell area.
· Check all other trim, seats etc for bad stitching or fastening in or just scuff marks/stains whatever.
· if diamoned brited or similar check all edges of panels etc. for runs and bubbling of the appropriate sealant.
· Also check the paintwork all over for scratches etc.
· Check that the doors are not TOO easy to close or you may get some leaks there.
· Check the alloys/trims/tyres for "kerbing" damage.
· Check all electricals/electronics for correct operation as per the handbook
· Check you get the exact 206cc handbook (This problem should have got sorted by now...so should all the other things though by rights!!).
· Check the correct operation of the front seats inc. height adjuster(s) where fitted.
· Check the obvious things that you would on any other car how it drives, brakes etc. if it is an auto check that it "kicks down" as it SHOULD!.
If there is anything else we've missed someone else will tell you I'm sure!
Don't be sad at the length of the list it's just a bit of insurance for you, Good luck and more importantly HAVE FUN
cc's are!
