My car went into the dealer today to have my ventilation knob fixed and the door re-aligned as it seemed a little 'dropped' to me.

They had to order a part for the vent knob, so that wasnt fixed, but they said they fixed the door.

Now, this is what it looked like before:

It looks exactly the same, if not worse.

I dont want seem as if im being pedantic, but it isnt supposed to look like that is it?

It does look a bit low...
To my knowledge the only way of adjusting the door is by loosening the bolts on the hinges and they are very awkward to get to...maybe the monkeys couldn't be bothered doing a proper job...

Well, its not just the aesthetics, it doesnt shut with a light push like the nearside door does, although it doesnt exactly need a shove.

Im just concerned that although its not a big problem at the moment, it may lead to leaks and other problems down the line. i.e. when its out of warranty!

is it the door thats catching or the window? I had a problem with the glass catching on the top of the seal just above the wing mirror.

They can also adjust the door catch on the door pillar by unscrewing the screws and moving it up/down or inwards/outwards. This will affect how it closes and how tight it is to the door seals - trial and error to get it right.
Rain or shine - topless is fine!!
