That is true but this comes with extras on worth nearly £1000. Its peoples personal preference of a car. Plus this is a starting offer price. Everyone knows you never get your asking price and I am open on offers. Cheers

Dealer £3,195

Private £2,845

Part Ex £2,645

Trade £2,495

Cost New £9,840

You do not get anything back on mods except a nominal amount if that. Aftermarket alloys are going to add nothing. I sold an identical car, standard spec + fogs & metallic (W reg) back in December 2001 at 18 months old for £6500. A 5yr+ car isn't going to command much over the auto trader valuation.

I wouldn't get much more for my 54 MG ZR 1.4 with Rallye kit which is why I am no longer selling it.
