After some advise off of u lot if possible.

found a 206 cc 2.0 Allure in Aegean Blue 54 plate with 8500 miles (taken me ages to find it an all!!!)

he's got it up at £11495 but managed to get it down to £10300.

talkin to him bout it an turns out its a repo. royal bank of scotland have taken it off the other owner due to non payment. so it has a registered 2 keepers.

as well the service book and owners book never came with the car so has been ordered. has told me that to keep the warranty valid he will stamp the book when he gets it to say that a 1st year service was carried out on it in september last year. obviously without this it is difficult to confim the mileage is correct at 8500 but took a mate who used to be a mechanic who said the mileage looked correct for the wear on tyres/engine/brake pads etc.

only really problems i can find are the drivers side wheels have been kerbed, the drivers seat has scuffs in the leather from what look like press studs on jeans (anyone know if you can get repair or get rid of this?) and the rear seat on the passengers side is curling up so that you can see the fastenings underneath (the seat was pushed all the way back and was slightly pushing it up- is this covered under warranty if it doesnt straighten out?)

other than that the car is mint!!!

i know its quite long this topic but i am in 2 minds and would appreciate any advise at all- good or bad!!!

Cheers

Dave

very good price for a 54 plate :)

get all the paperwork and history sorted the best you can as it may effect the price when you come to sell it.

alloy wheels can be repaired for about £30-40 per wheel, not sure on leather repairs, the rear seat might be sorted under warranty :)

Just a thought, but will the repossession show up on a HPI check. It may not as it sound like the car has been recovered, but it might be worth questioning as it might bite you in the ass in the future
