iPod trauma

My old car (citroen pluriel) had 2 sensibly place power sockets/cig lighters in the front and I used one of them to hold a podgear fm transmitter so I could listen to my iPod. The position of the cigarette lighter in my 206cc makes it impossible to use reverse or 4th gear or the handbrake - obviously need some other way to use my iPod in the car. Unless there is another power socket somewhere that I have yet to discover? (Only got my car yesterday.)

What do you recommend?

think most car shops such as motorworld or halfords should sell a cigar lighter extenter or maybe one that as got 3 inputs if you get what i mean
