good point rachel.
i never take cover where a courtesy car is not guaranteed. tesco/direct line insurance are the same and they will not guarantee one and say they are subject to availability but it's very common not to get one if you are at fault.
it may sometimes cost more but if you need daily use of a car then make sure a courtesy car is guaranteed.
consider the fact that you maybe saved £50 on insurance but then paid £500 to hire a not so attractive nissan micra for 4 weeks (maybe more)

two accidents ? - so its true what they say about woman drivers then 
i've been lucky (touch wood - my head probably) and haven't had an accident since Nov 93 although the one i had that month and 15 months before it were far from minor :sad:
every seen a nissan bluebird convertible before ? the taxi i hit 17 days after my test became one when they cut the roof off

i was insured with peugeot insurance services for my first year of ownership(sept 2000) and i have 2 admit they were the cheapest,but then last september it went up big time,even i was getting quotes of over £1000,i'm 32, professional driver,perfect record etc....
got it for £375(opening post)in the end
