Guys, I have a 206cc 1.6 16v NFU 2002 plate. I need a replacement engine wiring loom. Can I use any other model's loom or do I have to use the specific one. If so, where can I get the part number? I think, according to Service Box that I have a RHD without multiplexing and with A/C and the part number might be 9642519080.
But on the loom I have found the number 9640385180
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Re: Replacement Engine Wiring Loom needed!
You can't just use another engine loom from any other model (or even any other 206 CC) because they went through numerous under-bonnet small revisions and you need the matching main loom, ECU and BSI for each.
Service Box is good for telling you what the exact part number that you need should be when you put your VIN number in.
But if you leave out the VIN number an just do a search by model, then it will give you the alternative part numbers for each model revision.
You're likely to be OK if you get one from the same model and year, but to be sure you would be best to check the donor's VIN number too.
Hope that helps a bit.

Re: Replacement Engine Wiring Loom needed!
Worked out where the cable went. Tried BSI reset three times. No joy. Any pp2000 users near peterborough, ely or huntingdon still active ? Or anyone with a cable that works. I have pp but no cable. The missus has just told me to scrap the car for £50 and give up my new job that I started 4 weeks ago. Its costing me £60 a week to have this car standing. I need serious help on this one.

Read Enrights post above yours. You need the right loom. A 206CC BSI wont work in a hatch.
Cheers Col.
