Front seat problem
My passenger seat has gone wrong. It slides forward and back but does not lock into place. The slide forward/back release lever will not move. The seat back is jammed tilted fully forward, and the control levers at the sides have movement, but do not release the seat back.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Re: Front seat problem
Thanks for the reply, Col. There was one post with the same symptoms, but no cure.
However, I am greatly indebted to Reliable406 on the Peugeotforums.com site for his sage advice which resulted in a complete cure
Taking in what he said about turning the shaft in the opposite direction to what you'd expect, I pushed down on one handle and stood on the other, whilst pulling back on the headrest. Took a chance on the plastic handles being strong enough, but they were
Click, and it was in.
I hope this helps anyone else who has the same problem.
