Anyone any thoughts on whether I should go to the bother of buying one from an import company and selling ma 306 cab privately.

Okay guys I think I might just take the plunge and go for it . I don't think I want to have an early 307cc . I ain't testing the roof for them . By the sounds of it the 206 has had most if not all problems ironed out. I might even head east to Arnold clark on Dereks recomendation . I'll mention his name to see if I get a better deal
.

UK dealers quoted me about £17,000!

hiya,
I got my car from car import solutions http://www.carimportsolutions.co.uk.
After looking through many import guides these came out the cheapest! And i have saved myself £3500!
They do seem to be the cheapest, the website ins't great but it is a nice person that you deal with, and is a great service!
I had to go over to France to collect it, which i thought was great. I think you can pay extra and get it shipped over!
Hope this help! Any more questions, please ask!
