Okay guys I think I might just take the plunge and go for it . I don't think I want to have an early 307cc . I ain't testing the roof for them . By the sounds of it the 206 has had most if not all problems ironed out. I might even head east to Arnold clark on Dereks recomendation . I'll mention his name to see if I get a better deal .

Anyone any thoughts on whether I should go to the bother of buying one from an import company and selling ma 306 cab privately.

cakie, before making up your mind, if you can , read my threads "Should I take the offer for my Pug" and "wish I'd purchased an import" which are further down the list of topics in this discussions section.

Cakie,

I imported my little beauty and I have had it for almost 2 months. I also saved about £3,000. The company I used was Broadspeed.com

go for it!

Do the imports come with the 3 year warranty, honoured by a peugeot dealer in the UK? In view of all the problems i've had with mine I am glad to be able to take it back many times to the local dealer.

On my import from France, they only gave my a 1 year warranty and my local dealer are very strict on the correct paper work I have with the car, for any servicing etc

hiya,

I got my car from car import solutions http://www.carimportsolutions.co.uk.

After looking through many import guides these came out the cheapest! And i have saved myself £3500!

They do seem to be the cheapest, the website ins't great but it is a nice person that you deal with, and is a great service!

I had to go over to France to collect it, which i thought was great. I think you can pay extra and get it shipped over!

Hope this help! Any more questions, please ask! ;)
