Okay, has anyone put there CC through a car wash ?
Ive only ever put my 206LX through once, due to it being very dirty, about Zero degrees outside, and my hands being very dry from a medical condition, which is now no more .

Car Wash, your cc should be your pride and joy, you shouldn't have the heart to stick it through one of those. Your paintwork will never be the same again.

Car Washes do scratch the paint as the dirt gets trapped in the brushes and if you do get dry hands then get a good pair of marigolds from the supermarket. You may get some strang looks but your CC will stay gleaming and scratch free (and any strange looks will easily be outweighed by envious ones anyway).
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE hear me when i say to you ALL- NEVER take your car through a car wash- i used to run my own car valeting business and have seen TIME & TIME again how much damage those things do to your paintwork. i have never taken any car of mine through one and absolutley never will. get the hosepipe out & sort it out by hand. PLEASE...!
errm what about the brushless car washes ?? seem preety safe as nothing to make contact with and I guess just an upscaled version of a karcher washer ?
