True.....
as i can only comment from an HM Forces viewpoint, in the early 90's i was based in London and we received a "Weighting Allowance" which was a monthly bonus to factor in the fact that it was considerably more expensive to live in London than, say, the North of Scotland. And this allowance? Â£50 extra a month. That nearly bought 2 pints of beer in Central London.....

they do play a lot of pool but they still have a dangerous job.

A fireman near us died this week due to an arsonist. I wouldnt do that job even with a 40% rise.

Yeah, them bloody Arsonists....they lose four games in a week and they start sulking and starting fires. I blame Seaman myself, he should get his hair cut, the big jessie...
